Danielle Sturgeon

Expertise

Danielle was admitted to practice in 2011 and has practised exclusively in family law since that time. Before her admission, Danielle worked for a number of years in family law and so has a broad base of knowledge and experience over wide-ranging family law issues.

Danielle is a pragmatic solicitor. She believes that in family law the best outcomes are achieved when clients are provided with solid, sensible advice tailored to their particular circumstance. She focuses on achievable outcomes. Danielle brings strong advocacy on behalf of her clients and seeks to maximise opportunities to a reach a resolution without the necessity of resorting to court litigation.

However, if court litigation becomes necessary Danielle has experience appearing in both the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia in relation to property settlement, children's issues, divorce and State court family violence proceedings.

Bachelor of Laws (Honours) – Queensland University of Technology
Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice – College of Law
