Zak was admitted to practice in 2022 and has practised exclusively in family law and related jurisdictions since that time.
Zak advises and represents clients in all areas of family law, including parenting, property, spousal maintenance, child support, and family violence intervention orders.
He strives to achieve pragmatic and cost-effective outcomes for his clients through negotiation and mediation, wherever possible. When court is unavoidable, Zak has experience litigating both parenting and property matters. He has extensive experience in parenting cases involving significant risk issues and has developed a particular interest in property disputes involving the question of whether parties were in a de facto relationship.
Zak realises that the separation process can be extremely challenging for clients. He understands that the family law system is difficult to navigate and prides himself on giving accessible and common-sense advice.
